The current generation of Mori Seiki machines is certainly very reliable meaning that in general there is not a big call for breakdown support. The majority of calls we receive are to attend lathes and mill/turn machines due to bumps in operation, particularly where multiple set up operation is carried out.
We are well aware that many companies keep maintenance departments to a minimum scale and have passed maintenance duties to production areas. To assist in keeping a high level of machine performance and uptime we offer maintenance courses. These courses can be carried out at your site or at our European Training centre in Stuttgart or at our UK office (Coventry) if classroom based courses are applicable.
